Lighting As a group of musicians we specialize in lighting design to music for dance shows, ballets, musical theatre and concerts. We have a large hire stock available including moving lights and effects equipment to give your show that professional look. We have been designing for over 8 years and have worked with most of the major dance and performing arts schools in the area. We provide a complete service taking your ideas and turning them into reality. We have worked in many venues across the country and have provided complete staging systems for summer proms and concerts. Sound Our highly equipped sound department can deliver any size PA system or audio solution, be it for vocal reinforcement at a conference, a live band in field or a mixture of them both, MC can deliver a professional and cost effective solution to meet your requirements. Our highly skilled technicians have come from various backgrounds including live concerts, recording studios, West-End productions and together form a highly skilled team of experienced engineers and designers. Training and Courses We have recently introduced our range of courses due to the popular demand we have had from teaching staff and students. We have created 3 workshops to assist with teaching the technical aspect of theatre that include design, lighting, sound and production. All of the workshops that we offer include hands-on experience for staff and students and are suitable for anybody studying GCSE, Btec or A level type Drama courses. Please give us a call or use the contact page to find out more. Specialist Technical Workshops Lighting Design - 1 Day Includes basic aspects of design for plays, musical theatre and dance. Hands on experience with the latest lighting products on the market. Colour, Angles, gobo projection and focus are all covered and basic rigging, wiring and plotting will be experienced as well. DMX Workshop - 1 Day This is the techies day out. Great for students, school technical crews and amateur technicians. It's the chance to play with everything DMX including loads of moving lights (heads and scanners), scrollers, special effects and a choice of lighting desks. You will gain experience in rigging, wiring, addressing and plotting the boys toys with our technical team.
